Who are we?
Bluegrass Works is a group of folks who love bluegrass music, who want to see bluegrass music thrive and who want to help support the musicians and other fans who help make the music. Some of us are musicians; some are not.
What are our goals?
Among our objectives at Bluegrass Works LLC and bluegrassworks.com, we seek to:
- promote a greater appreciation and understanding of bluegrass music;
- inform, educate and entertain our users;
- expand, support and strengthen the bluegrass community;
- provide our users with the best resources;
- enhance and support communication among artists and listeners;
- help promote events that are consistent with our goals; and
- strengthen our ability to achieve our objectives.
We strive to achieve the highest levels of quality, integrity, honesty and professionalism within this website. We honor and value tradition. We also appreciate and support growth, experimentation and innovation. We encourage open, honest, frank, and above all else, civil and respectful participation and communication among our members. It goes without saying that this civility and respect must extend not only to age, gender, race and religion, but to musical taste, abilities, education and expertise as well. Our basic guidelines for participation in our Forum can be found in the "Management" category under thread titled "Announcement: Posting Guidelines." We encourage users to help support these guidelines. This website was created for you, so please help us maintain it as a valuable resource that everyone can use and enjoy.

Why the name "Bluegrass Works"?
All the good names were already taken. Seriously, though, the name Bluegrass Works does embody a few of our thoughts about this website:
- we will strive to be comprehensive, as in the "whole works"
- we are a "work" in progress, and will continually improve
- we have just begun and have a lot of "work" left to do
- bluegrass..... "it works for me"!!!
Can I help you?
Yes, we can certainly use your support.
