Every picking circle can pick from a dozen guitar pickers, less banjos, dobro, pedal steel guitars, mandolins, etc.

If you could start again, which instrument would you pick up, OR would you stay with guitar.

I am starting out. I have a guitar I kind of half a** pick at, but I wouldn't say I can play. I looked hard at a pedal steel, but it sounds best accompanying a band. I think the banjo sounds good by itself, but it's kind of limited to Blue Grass. The Dobro Is cool, and it can play with some blues stuff.

What would the board do?

I played drums all throughout my school years. I like anything with a good beat. But if I could do it again, I'd play guitar. And depending on what kind of band I was in would determine if it would be acoustic or electric. Because I love classic rock as much as bluegrass, I would prefer to play electric.
